Art is best enjoyed at a national gallery. If you’re a big art gallery fan then you’ll love to travel to different countries and visit their national art gallery. It is a special place where famous and not so famous artists are on exhibition for the public’s enjoyment. Most art galleries around the world will show case their countries best works of art and the up and coming artists.

The National Gallery of Canada is placed in the capital city of Ottawa, Ontario. The national gallery building is a work of art itself. The building is built inside a glass and granite. The national gallery was designed by Moshe Safdie and was publicly open in 1988. It accommodates a large verity of paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs.

If you happened to be down under in Australia, then check out the National Gallery of Australia. It’s located in the capital, Canberra and is funded by the Australian Federal Government. It houses Aboriginal, Western and Eastern Art, Modern Art, Sculpture and Crafts. Along the National Gallery building you’ll also find garden sculptures.

One of the most beautiful National Art Galleries in the world in my opinion is located in London and is located on the northern side of Trafalgar Square. Containing more than 2,000 works of art and paintings is doesn’t charge for an admittance fee. The quality of artworks build up is amazing. You can see many famous paintings including the Early Renaissance and the Post-Impressionists as part of the masterpieces of the gallery.
